About the Founder

Hey, my name is Demi and I’m the founder of The Demi Strategy. I have a passion for all things employability and early careers.

Having experience in recruiting candidates, working in my university careers service, monitoring recruitment campaigns for companies on campus, holding a Careers Counselling certification and Level 3 Certificate in CV Writing and Interview Skills, I’ve done all I can to learn how to position myself as an expert in this area.

Building The Demi Strategy has been a natural progression because there’s nothing I love more than sharing value. My favourite verse, 1st Timothy 4:12 says: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young..” To me, being young is something to leverage and not be afraid of.

As a young adult, I haven't forgotten what the reality is in terms of succeeding on placements, manoeuvering the job search game and building a personal brand. This means that you’ll be able to talk to someone who talks like you, is tired of the clichés, doesn’t expect you to code-switch, fake the formalities and welcomes the ranting!
